Umpires are an integral part of the game. Given the importance of umpires to the game of baseball, umpires are expected to honour their commitments and treat their duties maturely, conscientiously and responsibly.

Minimum age to apply as follow;
T-Ball and Rookie should be 12 years old at May 1st of playing year.
Mosquito and Peewee, should be 14 years of age or older.
 

Training
Pre-season training is provided free of charge. A T-Ball clinic will be held in early April. Ontario Baseball Association (OBA) Level I and Level II clinics will also be held in April.
