Dear Community Supporter:
Each year we count upon the support of the local business community in helping us to run a quality baseball program in Waterloo and this year we are coming to you again. Last year we had 900 children registered in our various house league and rep programs. WMBA house league players play in an inter-city league with KMBA an additional 900 youngsters, therefore your sponsorship covers the K-W and surrounding area. Waterloo Minor Baseball provides a valuable service to youngsters in the K-W community engaging youngsters in productive organized activities. Waterloo has the highest diamond costs in the province of Ontario.
I cannot stress enough the valuable role minor sports plays in the molding of our children’s lives. It teaches them the benefits of team work, commitment and dedication. It demonstrates the value of volunteerism and allows them to participate in the joy of a sporting activity as citizens of this community. However, to do this work each year we need your financial support. Your participation can be best accomplished through our various sponsorship options, which are as follows:
o Sponsor a House League Team - $ 350.00
Every player on a team will have your company’s name on their jersey (colours of your choice)
plus your name will appear in the KWMBA Player Handbook.
¨ Sponsor a House League Division - $ 2000.00
Every player in the division will have your company’s name on their jersey. There are 6-10 teams in a division. We place your sponsorship with a team in each division from T-Ball through Mosquito (6-11 year olds)
o Sponsor a House League Tournament - $ 500.00
¨ A donation to offset a youngster, with financial need, to register in our program
¨ Sponsorship of a REP Tier I or Tier II Team (travel teams) - $ 625.00
There are so many benefits to supporting Waterloo Minor Baseball. You have the satisfaction in helping kids to acquire positive community values, you demonstrate your company’s community leadership and your company’s name appears both on the field and in our handbook. And as an advertising expense, it is tax deductible. I urge you to take a moment and complete the application on the reverse side of this letter and mail it to the address above with your cheque payable to “Waterloo Minor Baseball Association” (WMBA) by March 15, 2020.
