2021 Waterloo Tigers Baseball Season ends on a winning note!!

2021 Waterloo Tigers Rep Season Recap
 

The 2021 ICBA season has wrapped up and the Waterloo Tigers had a great season overall as an association.  First and foremost, 19 rep teams and 3 select teams took the field in 2021 and played games.  That was an accomplishment in itself and the association is grateful to all our volunteers and coaches who helped make that happen.  Although our teams did not get to compete for provincial championships this year, the rep teams all competed in very competitive ICBA loops in 2021.

 

The following teams captured the pennant as regular season champs:
 

• 10U Tier 1 coached by Adam Lawrence with a record of 16-3-2

• 12U Tier 2 coached by Ryan Lloyd-Craig with a record of 19-2-1

• 14U Tier 2 coached by Paul Ewart with a record of 14-4

• 15U Tier 1 coached by Rajeev Kudsia with a record of 14-4

• 15U Tier 2 coached by Brian Matthews with a record of 16-2
 

The playoffs this year were stretched into September due to the late start to the season and were extremely competitive at all divisions.  From 11U and down, tournaments were held and from 12U and up, playoff series occurred to crown league playoff champions.  When the dust settled the following teams captured the league championship in their respective leagues:
 

• 15U Tier 2 coached by Brian Matthews
 

Congratulations to all our players, coaches and volunteers on an excellent season of Tigers baseball.  We are looking forward to 2022.
