The Major Mosquito T1 team pulled out another tournament championship winning the Toyota Cambridge AA/A championship.

The boys kicked off tournament play against the Peterborough Tigers.  After a slow start and falling behind early to a strong hitting club, the boys showed they could play with these Tigers coming up just short in a 11-7 loss.

In the Saturday games, Waterloo started quickly and finished strong in both games winning convincingly 10-5 over Brampton and 11-0 vs. Guelph.

In Semi-Final play, a close game out the outset vs. Cambridge T2 was decided early when Waterloo was able to get out of a bases loaded no out jam.  From there, the Tigers got their hitting going finishing with an 8-2 win and on to the championship against Peterborough!

In a classic championship at WaterWorks #1 in Cambridge, the game saw the lead change hands 5 times in the 7 innings with both sides showing some great defence and timely hitting.  Waterloo took the lead in the top of the 6th and held on to the 1 run lead into the bottom of the 7th.  With 1 out and the tying runner at 1st, Waterloo turned a 4-6-3 double play to win the game!
