Major Mosquito T1 Milton Tournament Champions!

The Waterloo Tigers Major Mosquito T1 team won the Milton Tournament with a decisive final round of play.

The Waterloo Tigers Major Mosquito T1 team won the Milton Tournament with a convincing 20 - 8 score over the host Milton Mets.

 

Waterloo went 1 - 1 - 1 in the round robin.  A well played Friday night game vs. the WOBA Bulls ended in a 9 - 9 tie.  Saturday saw the boys beat Mississauga North T2 9 - 7.  In Saturday's closing game, Milton and Waterloo battled to a one run game into the 7th when Milton broke it open to win 10 - 6.

 

Finishing 2nd in their pool, Waterloo played Kanata Sunday morning.  Waterloo brought their bats beating the Kanata Cubs 14 - 3 in 5 innings.  Just in time before the rains came down on the diamonds to cancel the rest of the day.

 

Waterloo returned to Milton this Sunday to play the Mets.  The boys started the game with a 7 run first inning and continued to hit the ball well throughout putting up 20 runs in 6 innings to win the championship!
